Data collection

Stop Wasting Your Life does not collect, store on external servers, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or usage data of any kind. The app makes no network requests. This matches the app's App Store privacy declaration: Data Not Collected.

Screen Time data

The app uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (FamilyControls and DeviceActivity) with your explicit, one-time authorization for your own device (individual authorization — this is not a parental-control product).

• Your usage data is rendered on-device by a sandboxed system extension provided by iOS. By Apple's design, the app itself cannot read, export, or upload the underlying Screen Time records.
• Nothing is transmitted off your device — by the app or by the developer.
• You can revoke Screen Time access at any time in Settings ▸ Screen Time on your device, and you can delete all app data by deleting the app.

Preferences stored on your device

Settings you choose in the app (such as your daily goal or excluded apps) are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard preferences system and are never uploaded anywhere.

Tips (in-app purchases)

The app offers optional one-time tips. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never receives your name, payment details, or any other personal information from a purchase.

Third parties, analytics, and tracking

The app contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics or telemetry, no advertising, and performs no tracking of any kind.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children — it does not collect data at all. It is designed for individuals to review their own device usage.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future feature works differently), the updated policy will be posted at this address with a new effective date before the change ships.
